Audience: All Staff
Every student deserves the opportunity to learn and develop his or her God-given gifts at school. However, students with academic gifts are often underchallenged and underdeveloped. How can teachers offer appropriate challenges for students with academic gifts in the general education classroom?
During this in-service, general education teachers will learn ways to identify and challenge academically gifted students by learning about differentiation strategies, assessment approaches, compacting curriculum, grouping strategies, and how to use Blooms taxonomy to deepen learning without adding busy work. Participants will leave with practical ideas and resources they can implement immediately to meet the needs of students.
This in-service is only available in-person to staff at CLC Network Member Schools. Please contact us at 616-245-8388 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
