Join us as we explore general behavior management principles and strategies that can be applied immediately in the classroom and implemented with the students you serve. Our 2017-2018 Connect & Collaborate: Paraeducator Edition explored what it means to be an inclusive community and how your understanding of inclusion impacts the students you serve. This school year, we will build on our understanding of inclusion and focus on behavior management within an inclusive community.
We were thrilled to gather with over sixty paraeducators from twenty-one CLC Network Member Schools in 2017-2018! Past participants have shared with us the benefit of meeting new people, encouraging one another in their work, and discussing effective tools and strategies to use in an inclusive setting. We look forward to the encouragement and networking that will happen at the 2018-2019 Connect & Collaborate: Paraeducator Edition!
We are offering this in-service twice (December 12, 2018 and January 9, 2019) as paraeducators play such an important role in classrooms; we understand it can be difficult for several staff to attend a training on the same day.
This in-service is only available in-person to staff at CLC Network Member Schools. Please contact us at 616-245-8388 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
